Did the Magic come to play, or did they just come to play? I am so disappointed in the 2009 finals that it is ridiculous! Orlando Magic beat the Cleveland Cavs and made it to the NBA Finals and only gave us 5 games!?!?! What the hell is that? The Lakers/Magic series was the worst series by far this year! Dwight Howard had 11 pts, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks. I expected so much more from Dwight and the Magic, seeing as though they beat Cleveland. I really thought they had a chance.
I must give kudos to the best coach of all time, Phil Jackson. Phil Jackson "The Zen Master" has just won his tenth NBA Championship!!!! I am so excited for him. The question now is will he return next year to try again? Jackson has had some health issues that has caused him to miss 2 games this season. I would love to see him return for another season and I dont mind if he bow out, gracefully.
Kobe Bryant played extremely well. He gave it his all and his teamates joined him. I would like to question that though... I think Kobe would have had to work harder had they played the Cavs... (hhhmmm???). Kobe had 30 pts, 5 assists, 4 blocks in game 5. I still feel that the Cleveland Cavs should have been finals, because the Magic was no competetion for Kobe and the Lakers. Kobe was rewarded the MVP award, and that is now 4 Championship rings under his belt. Congratulations Kobe!
The Lakers really did work hard together, teamwork was the key to winning. I have a fact for ya... The Lakers will not win next year, you can beat on that!
