2010 ALL STAR WEEKEND

There is said to be plenty of star studded events Valentines day weekend in Dallas. You have the celebrity basketball game on Friday night, along with the Rookie Challenge and Youth Jam. Saturday you got H.O.R.S.E & the All Star events such as the Footlocker 3pt Contest, Taco Bells Skills Challenge, Haier Shooting Stars and the Sprite Slam Dunk contest. Sunday night is the All Star Game for sure... Kobe side versus Lebron James side! Then you know you got the Shaq and Kobe controversy (is that really still going on?) This is going to be a great weekend for Dallas!

NEW ORLEANS SAINTS 1st FRANCHISE WIN

They came, we saw, they conquered!!!! The mighty mighty Saints came through Miami, Florida and did dat! 106.5 million people watched as Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints won their first Super Bowl ever. Saints quarter back, Drew Brees was 32 of 39 in passing. Brees had a hell of a game but it was Tracy Porter who sealed the deal when he picked off Colts, quarter back, Payton Manning and ran for a 74 yard touchdown. Another key player was Jeremy Shockey, who took some hard hits throughout the game, but he got his 2yard touchdown when it counted most. Overall the two teams went into this game evenly matched, but experience from the Colts had the NO Saints as the underdogs. Many sport analyst had the Colts to win it all, but the Saints rallied from a 10 point deficit, ending the game with a score of 31-17 and Drew Brees as Most Valuable Player.
